A caller rang the Delhi Fire Service around 10am informing them about the blaze at the residential complex near MRV School in sector 13, Dwarka.
A fire broke out on Tuesday morning in a residential society flat in Delhi’s Dwarka sector 13, fire officials said.
The fire was reported in the flat located on the seventh floor of Sabad Apartments in sector-13 near MRV School. Fire officials said the details of the injuries were yet to be known.
According to a fire official, the call regarding the blaze was reported at 10:01am, after which eight fire tenders were pressed into service. Firefighting operations are currently underway, and authorities are working to bring the situation under control, they said, adding that police, fire department and ambulance were at the spot.
The fire department said that the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, and details regarding any injuries or damage have not yet been confirmed. Officials said that further information will be provided at a later stage.
Residents in the area were asked to stay clear of the site to allow emergency services to operate efficiently.
