Gensol says no ED notice received by company, stock continues steep fall

Gensol share price: The stock fell 5% to hit the lower circuit limit and has fallen over 50% in the last 6 months.

Gensol Engineering Limited has said that neither the company nor its directors have received any notice or communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding reports linking them to an investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The company’s statement comes after media reports claimed that the Promoters of Gensol could be summoned by the ED. of in connection with the Mahadev Book app case.

In a clarification shared with the stock exchanges, Gensol said that the recent news reports are not true. The company said that there has been no official communication from the ED, and that the reports are based on speculation. The promoters named in the reports are Anmol Singh Jaggi and Puneet Singh Jaggi.
